ELD Sports Night Hoop-La
Turn out was strong for AICC's Sports and Business event held at Temple University's Fox School of Business. The program featured Temple University's Israeli forward Carmel Bouchman and assistant coach Matt Langel, Haverford pitcher Daniel Maddy-Weitzman and Marc Simon, Esq attorney and sports agent who discussed the cross-cultural sports experience.

2010 Yitzhak Rabin Public Service Award
The 2010 Yitzhak Rabin Public Service Award Rabin Award honoree is Winston Churchill; and US Airways is the Mayor's Citation Award winner. The dinner and award ceremony will be held on March 4, 2010 at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
BIRD Foundation Energy Grant

TransBiodiesel Ltd., of Shfar-Am, Israel and The Purolite Company, Bala Cynwyd, PA, have been selected for a BIRD Foundation grant of up to $700,000. Their project seeks to design a biocatalyst comprised of methanol-resistant lipase immobilized on a cost-effective resin for the production of biodiesel at commercial scales. TransBiodiesel presented at the AICC Cleantech conference held on September 15, 2009. |
