Committees
AICC programs and initiatives are developed and implemented by committees consisting of its members.
Investment in Israel Committee
Chairpersons: Sid Amster, Cliff Goldstein, Paul Schieber
A catalyst for the encouragement of investments in Israel and Israeli companies entering the United States, the Committee is charged with the responsibility of educating the investment public about investment opportunities in Israel and making information about investment opportunities available.
Gateway Committee
Chairpesons: Beth Cohen, Jill Felix Colton, Marc Tepper
Formed to develop the Greater Philadelphia region as a major gateway to U.S. markets for Israeli businesses, the Gateway Committee is responsible for identifying the regional resources available to support its mission and developing a business plan for presenting them in Israel. Specific tasks include: enlisting the support of corporate partners and advisors in industries complementary to Israel's high technology, enlisting the support of economic development organizations in this region as well as governmental and quasi-governmental entities that can provide economic incentives and in-kind technical resources; and supporting AICC staff efforts to develop resource materials for Israeli companies; and marketing this region in Israel as a preferred gateway to the U.S.
Membership Committee
Chairpersons: Len Bernstein, Steve Carpey, Evan Segal
The Membership Committee is responsible for maintaining existing membership and developing growth opportunities for AICC through stewardship, identification of individual prospects and development of outreach strategies to relevant industries and geographic areas.
Emerging Leaders Division (ELD)
Chairpersons: Avner Z. Lahat, Esq. Ilan Rosenberg, Esq. , Daniel Leon
A division of AICC, ELD was established to involve emerging business professionals - both American and Israelis -- in the mission of AICC and to develop the next generation of leadership in the Greater Philadelphia region. ELD is a growing, self-governed network that identifies programs and initiatives that introduce its members and their guests to business and investment in Israel. ELD Members enjoy the privileges of AICC membership at a reduced rate for a period of two years. AICC Corporate and Sponsor Members may identify one additional representative from their business to participate in ELD.
Program Committee
Chairpersons: David Allon, Morris Gocial
The Program Committee develops the calendar for AICC general programs as well as targeted sessions that further the mission of specific AICC Committees. Responsibilities include identifying and developing program content as well as recruitment strategies and coordination with other AICC Committees.
